Release Notes

  • In-Browser Media Capture — Users can now capture photos, videos, and audio directly within forms, safety reports, and inspections without leaving the platform.
  • Template Library with Live Preview — Each template in the gallery now has a dedicated page with a live preview of its full structure, use cases, and a one-click customization path.
  • AI-Powered Template Refinement — Platform administrators can now iterate on system templates through a conversational AI interface, with live preview updating after each exchange.
  • Digital Signage — Digital Signage is now a native MangoApps marketplace app with built-in analytics, per-screen impression tracking, and content feeds that pull live from shifts, training, alerts, and recognition.
  • Media Capture with AI Analysis — Field and operations teams can now attach photos, videos, and voice memos directly to inspections, work orders, tasks, and incidents — with automatic AI transcription, image analysis, EXIF privacy stripping, and shareable watermarked links.
  • Comms Hub AI Writer & Brand Voices — Internal communications teams can now generate and refine content with an AI writer built into Comms Hub, guided by saved Brand Voice profiles that keep tone and style consistent across every channel and author.
  • Comms Hub — A new unified internal communications app gives IC and HR teams one place to compose, schedule, and measure all employee communications across email, in-app, push, and digital signage — replacing fragmented per-tool workflows.

  • Emergency Alerts — Organizations can now send targeted emergency notifications to specific employee audiences with real-time delivery tracking and employee check-in acknowledgment, all from within the workforce platform.

  • Publication Cadence Builder — Comms Hub publications can now be scheduled on recurring cadences — daily, weekly, monthly, or custom — with a visual schedule builder and human-readable summaries shown on the publication detail page.

  • Advanced Candidate Search — Recruiters can now search all candidates using boolean queries, collapsible filter sections for skills, location, compensation, and pipeline stage, saved searches, and active-filter chips — replacing the previous basic 3-field filter.

  • AI Receptionist Knowledge Base — Service businesses can now build a custom knowledge base for their AI receptionist — adding FAQ articles, documents, and videos so the AI can look up answers to business-specific questions before escalating to a human, with an AI-assisted article drafting tool included.

  • Total Compensation Distribution in Offer Templates — Offer templates can now define percentage splits across base salary, bonus, signing bonus, and equity so that entering a Total Compensation amount auto-populates all four component fields, and editing any component recalculates the total automatically.

  • AI Front Office — A new AI-powered receptionist that handles inbound web chat and SMS inquiries, captures online booking requests, routes them to dispatchers, and gives managers a live analytics dashboard — all without human coverage gaps.

  • Universal Bookmarks with Notes and Search — Employees can now bookmark policies, SOPs, tasks, wiki pages, site pages, library items, jobs, recognition posts, and message comments from a single save button, add private notes to each bookmark, and filter or search their saved collection from one place.

  • Auto-Grant Skills from Training Completion — When an employee finishes a course, their matching skill and certification are automatically added to their Skills & Certifications profile — including proficiency level, certification date, and expiration — with no manual entry required.

  • Drive — File Management App — A new Drive app is now available in the marketplace, providing centralized file storage with version history, granular permissions, external sharing links, file request forms, and watermarking.
  • Missing Punch Request Flow — Employees who forgot to clock in or out can now submit a retroactive correction request directly from the time-attendance widget, routing it to the manager review queue for approval.
  • AI-Powered Service Desk Routing — Service desk routing rules can now match tickets by plain-English intent descriptions evaluated by an AI model, enabling smarter automatic assignment without relying solely on keywords or ticket fields.
  • Workspace — A new AI-native project collaboration app with message board, to-dos, schedule, files, check-ins, and Hill Charts — where the AI drafts status updates and client digests from your team's actual activity.
  • Contracted Hours Control for Scheduling — Schedule auto-assign and manual drag-and-drop now respect contracted hour budgets, with configurable enforcement modes (strict, soft warning, or off) and a per-run override in the auto-assign wizard.
  • Platform Direct Messaging — Employees can now send direct messages to each other across the platform, with support for threaded replies, reactions, bookmarks, and drafts.
  • Business Setup Checklist & Starter Pack — New business admins now get a guided setup checklist and starter pack, filtered by their chosen use cases, so the platform is configured for their specific needs from day one.
  • Compensation Agent Automation — Compensation Management now surfaces an AI agent dashboard for admins with recent automation history, pending actions, and configuration controls — all within the existing app.
  • Ask AI Page-Aware Routing — Ask AI now detects the context of the page you are on and routes questions to the right specialized agent automatically, so employees get answers grounded in the record they are viewing.
  • Mango Spend — New expense management app: submit reports, capture receipts via mobile or email, enforce spend policies, manage corporate cards with automatic transaction matching, and push approved reports directly to QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
  • My Team Org Chart — Employees can now open a focused org chart scoped to their own reporting subtree — showing their manager, peers, and direct reports — without navigating the full company directory.
  • Profile Tab Visibility Controls — Admins can now hide entire employee profile tabs (Personal Info, Employment, Compensation, Compliance) from Employee Data Management, and empty profile cards collapse automatically when all their fields are turned off.
  • Mango Spend — A new expense management app for employee reimbursements: capture receipts on mobile with AI-powered OCR, submit expense reports through built-in policy checks, route them through approval workflows, and export payroll-ready CSVs for reimbursement.
  • AI Plugin Builder V2 — The AI-assisted custom app builder now handles significantly more complex applications — multi-table apps with eight or more interconnected record types can now be built in a single AI session, with a stable UI that continues working without manual intervention.
