What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable backend APIs and web applications
- Own the technical vision for our AI-powered products and ensure alignment with business goals
- Build high-performance frontend applications with JavaScript, React, and modern web technologies
- Develop robust and scalable backend services using RoR, Next.js, Python, and databases (Postgres/MySQL)
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with UX designers and product teams to turn ideas into intuitive user experiences
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in JavaScript, React, and backend technologies
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, making architectural decisions, and mentoring developers
- Strong expertise in API design, database architecture, and performance optimization
- Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers
- Ability to make high-impact architectural decisions and balance trade-offs between speed, performance, and scalability
