We’re seeking a Hands-On Cloud Operations and Security Manager to oversee MangoApps' entire cloud infrastructure, ensure compliance, and manage deployments. In this role, you will lead a small team while owning all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure management, cloud security, and system optimization. As the go-to IT expert, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations and supporting the technical backbone of MangoApps.

Responsibilities

• Manage MangoApps' entire cloud infrastructure, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and security.
• Oversee compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across all IT operations.
• Directly manage and mentor a small team, providing hands-on leadership and guidance.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and data protection.
• Own cloud deployments, automating processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain optimal infrastructure operations.
• Execute regular backups and implement disaster recovery and failover procedures.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, recommending improvements and adopting innovative technologies.
• Act as the primary technical support and decision-maker for all IT-related needs and challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a small team or operating as a hands-on expert.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) expertise, including setting up servers (Apache, MySQL, OpenVPN).
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, networking concepts, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation of IT processes.
• Advanced experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with VMware, SSO integration (ADFS, Okta, SAML), and Puppet for configuration management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Local to the greater Seattle area with hybrid work flexibility (office in Issaquah, WA).
